Patna: There was a huge uproar during the Bihar bandh of independent MP Pappu Yadav demanding re-conduct of the 70th BPSC examination. Pappu Yadav's supporters created a lot of ruckus from Patna to Purnia. Shops were forcibly closed, those who did not close their shops were beaten and misbehaved. Along with this, many shops and vehicles were also vandalized. Incidents of assault and misbehavior with people going to office were also seen during Bihar Bandh.

Supporters of Pappu Yadav, who came out of Patna Science College, blocked the road by setting fire to Ashok Rajpath. With banners and posters in their hands, Pappu Yadav's supporters forcibly closed the shop and show room. At the same time, vehicles passing through the road were vandalized extensively. There was a clash between Pappu Yadav's supporters and the police near JP Golambar of Patna. Pappu Yadav's supporters broke the barricades. An attempt was made to forcibly close the shops around Dak Bungalow intersection. Opened shops on Ashok Rajpath were closed. The same situation was seen in Purnia and Katihar also. In Katihar, Pappu Yadav's supporters beat up and misbehaved with a person going to office.
