New Delhi: Dhurandhar: After the release of The Revenge, where it is getting tremendous response across the world, an incident that came to light from Canada has surprised everyone. During the show of this Ranveer Singh starrer film, vandalism was allegedly done in the cinema and the situation got so bad that the police had to intervene.

It is being told that this incident happened in Montreal where some audience started creating ruckus during the screening of the film. In the video going viral on social media, it can be clearly seen that the theater screen has been damaged and an atmosphere of chaos was created inside the hall. Police had to be called to the spot to control the situation and they were also seen entering the hall.

As soon as the video surfaced, there was a flood of reactions from people on the internet. Many users called this incident shameful while some called it an example of movie night going in the wrong direction. One user wrote that if someone does not like the film, it does not mean that public property should be damaged. Some people claimed that such incidents have been seen in more than one theatre.

Talking about the film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been directed by Aditya Dhar and many big actors are seen in it along with Ranveer Singh. The film is a high octane action drama which prominently features the story of patriotism and revenge.

However, while on one hand the film is getting good response from the audience, on the other hand some people are also criticizing it. Some users on social media have even called it a propaganda film, which has further intensified the debate.

  • This incident once again raises the question whether disagreement over films should reach such a level that people take law into their hands. This kind of violent reaction on a platform created for entertainment is not only harmful but it also raises questions on social behavior.
