The episode opens with Electra asking Dylan to quit her job at Forrester, but Dylan refuses, reflecting on her ongoing struggles. Electra questions whether she enjoys tormenting her, but Dylan assures her that she won’t be a problem and will stay out of her way.
Their conversation then shifts to Ivy’s observation, with Dylan insisting that whatever happened between her and Will was innocent. Electra brings up the kiss, and Dylan clarifies that it happened after their breakup and doesn’t matter. The schoolteacher then points out that Electra isn’t entirely innocent either. Confused, Electra asks what she means, and Dylan responds that she already knows exactly what she’s referring to.

Dylan befittingly responds
Dylan fires back at Electra for criticizing her over a mistake that she herself also made with RJ. Electra quickly brings up Dylan’s extended stay at the beach house, and Dylan admits that she was alone and desperate at the time due to financial struggles. She adds that with her current job, she’s trying to improve her life and makes it clear that she won’t be leaving the company anytime soon.
Ivy pushes RJ to get close to Electra
Ivy walks in as RJ is sketching designs for the men’s line and inappropriately compliments both his work and his biceps. She adds that Electra would love his physique. RJ hesitates to talk about Electra, but Ivy keeps going and suggests he design couture gowns with her niece as his muse.
The conversation then shifts to Electra and Will before Ivy reveals that Dylan has been hired, noting that it’s not good news. RJ realizes that Dylan’s presence could be hurtful for Electra. However, Ivy urges him to distract Electra from the pain and make sure Will doesn’t try to crawl back into her life.
Daphne and Will talk
When Daphne finds Will in the office, she asks him to open up and acknowledges that he still loves Electra. Will says he doesn’t intend to speak badly about his ex, prompting Daphne to question how things went from good to bad between them. He explains that Electra left him. Their conversation is interrupted by Ivy, who asks Daphne to stop interfering. However, Daphne tells her to take her own advice.
RJ consoles Electra
Elsewhere, RJ tells Electra that he understands things have been tough for her and reassures her that he and Ivy have her back. They vent about Dylan, and Electra expresses disbelief over how her relationship has come to a standstill. RJ urges her to move forward and reassures her that he’s there for her.
Dylan faces off with Ivy
Unbeknownst to them, Dylan overhears the conversation and realizes that Ivy is responsible for the breakup between Will and Electra. After Daphne storms out of the office, Dylan walks in and confronts Ivy about what she said. Ivy admits that she has been trying to keep the couple apart.
