E-Cigarette is very dangerous for your health, shocking revelation revealed

E-cigarette: Many people turn to e-cigarettes to quit smoking, believing that it is less harmful than traditional cigarettes. But a recent study has challenged this myth and proved that e-cigarettes can also be dangerous for our health. This research conducted by experts from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Arkansas highlights the health risks of e-cigarette consumption.

This study proves that e-cigarettes, whether they contain nicotine or not, can have negative effects on our blood vessels and respiratory system. Especially nicotine-free e-cigarettes can be as dangerous for health as nicotine-containing e-cigarettes.

Health effects of e-cigarettes

The recent study included 31 adults aged 21 to 49 who regularly vaped or smoked. These people were subjected to MRI scans twice a day, which were done before and after their cigarette smoking habits. The research included people who consumed three types of products—nicotine-free, nicotine-containing, and regular e-cigarettes. Apart from this, research was also done on 10 other healthy people aged 21 to 33, who did not smoke.

Research results

According to the results of the study, consumption of all types of cigarette products has negative effects on health. Although somewhat less harm was seen in those who smoked nicotine-free e-cigarettes, they were still found to have serious effects on their blood vessels. Consumption of e-cigarettes can cause lung and heart related diseases, and can also reduce the supply of oxygen in the body.

Harm caused by e-cigarettes

Consuming e-cigarettes can affect the supply of oxygen in the body. Additionally, it can constrict blood vessels, increasing the risk of heart diseases. Prolonged use of e-cigarettes can also cause serious diseases like lung infection and cancer.

Expert advice

Dr. Marianne Naibout, who was part of this research, said that consumption of e-cigarettes has a direct effect on the blood vessels and can cause cardio vascular (heart and blood vessels) problems. He also said that consumption of nicotine-free e-cigarettes is also not completely safe. Additionally, experts suggest that people who are trying to quit smoking should seek medical help, as this may be the most effective and safe method.
