EA Sports unveils EAFC 26 Team of the Year featuring Mbappe, Haaland and Vitinha

EA Sports has officially revealed the EAFC 26 Team of the Year (TOTY), celebrating the best-performing footballers from the past year across world football. As expected, the final XI is packed with elite names who have dominated both club and international competitions, reflecting consistency, impact, and big-game performances.

Between the posts, Gianluigi Donnarumma earns the goalkeeper spot after another commanding year, marked by decisive performances at club level and in European competitions. The defensive line sees a blend of physical dominance and technical excellence, with Jules Kounde, Virgil van Dijk, William Saliba, and Nuno Mendes making up a formidable back four. Their inclusion highlights defensive stability, leadership, and tactical intelligence throughout the season.

Midfield is headlined by creativity and control. Pedri continues to be recognised for his vision and composure, while Declan Rice earns his place after a season defined by consistency, defensive solidity, and leadership. Joining them is Vitinha, whose influence in midfield has grown significantly, with his technical ability and tempo-setting performances standing out across major competitions.

The attack features some of the most feared forwards in world football. Kylian Mbappe once again cements his status as a global superstar, while Erling Haaland’s relentless goalscoring makes his selection unavoidable. Completing the front line is Ousmane Dembele, rewarded for his explosive pace, creativity, and match-winning contributions.
