Earlier she refused to work together… then Farah Khan’s opinion changed, made a big revelation about Akshay Khanna

New Delhi: In the world of Bollywood, relationships and experiences between actors often change with time. Many times the initial experiences with an artist are not good, but later when circumstances and people’s nature change, the same relationships become better. Recently, famous choreographer and director Farah Khan made some interesting revelations while remembering her old experience with actor Akshaye Khanna.

During a conversation, Farah Khan told that when she started working with Akshay Khanna in the 90s, his behavior used to be quite different. At that time, Farah was surprised to see his attitude on the set. He said that at that time Akshay seemed very introverted and irritable due to which it was not easy to work with him.

Farah told that many times it happened that when she came to know that Akshay Khanna was also working in a film, she used to try to avoid doing that project. She said that the experience at that time was so strange that she did not want to work in that environment again.

According to Farah Khan, Akshay Khanna was also going through personal problems at that time. He was especially worried about his falling hair. Farah told that Akshay himself later admitted that at that time he felt uncomfortable with his looks and this was the reason why his behavior often became irritable.

He told that many times Akshay would suddenly get angry on the sets and throw things in anger. Sometimes he would express his displeasure about the script or dialogue and say what kind of dialogue this is. It became difficult for the team to work in such an environment. According to Farah, at that time she could not understand why Akshay gets angry so easily.

However, with time this picture completely changed. Farah Khan told that when she worked with Akshay Khanna again during the film Dil Chahta Hai, her perspective completely changed. The film was directed by Farah’s cousin Farhan Akhtar and also starred Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

According to Farah, by then Akshay Khanna had become more calm and comfortable than before. He had also accepted his falling hair and no longer felt as uncomfortable as before. Farah jokingly said that earlier if there was water or rain in a scene, Akshay used to shoot wearing a cap as was seen in some scenes of the film Taal.

Farah Khan also told that Akshay Khanna is not only a good actor but also an excellent dancer. While choreographing the famous song Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe from the film Dil Chahta Hai, he felt that Akshay Khanna did many steps very easily and at many places he looked better than Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan.

  • With time their relationship also improved. This was the reason why Farah Khan later gave an important role to Akshay Khanna in her film Tees Maar Khan. This example shows that people and relationships also change with time in the film industry. Experiences that sometimes seem difficult later turn into good memories.
