Earthquake tremors were felt in many districts of Jharkhand at 9.20 am on Saturday morning. The land of Tamar in the capital Ranchi, Chakradharpur in Chaibasa and Jamshedpur has shaken. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. Due to the earthquake, the earth kept shaking for about five seconds.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Tamar on Friday. At 9.20 in the morning the earth suddenly started shaking and then people realized that there was an earthquake. Tremors were felt for about 5 seconds. After this, people hurriedly came out of their homes. It is being told that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Jamshedpur, 13 km away from Seraikela, between Ranchi and Rourkela.
