Earthquake hits Tajikistan again, earth trembles for the eighth time in a month
Dushanbe: The National Center of Seismology said that an earthquake of 4.6 magnitude occurred in Tajikistan late on Wednesday night. According to data shared by the National Center of Seismology, it was found that the earthquake occurred at 11:01 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) on November 27. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 80 kilometers.
Let us tell you that this earthquake occurred near Garam Chashma Hot Springs in the Pamir mountain range of Tajikistan. The earthquake occurred near the international border, which is near the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
8th earthquake in a month
According to the National Center of Seismology, this is the eighth earthquake to hit Tajikistan in a period of 30 days. “The territory of the Republic of Tajikistan falls entirely within the seismically active zone,” the World Bank said in its previous report. The report said that 50 percent of the entire area of the country lies in the 9 intensity seismic zone, 38 percent in the 8 intensity zone and 12 percent in the 7 intensity zone.
The report states that out of the 8 million people living in the country, 73.7 percent people live in 8-9 intensity seismic zones and only 26.3 percent people live in 7 intensity seismic zones. According to the World Bank, over the past few years, Tajikistan has experienced several earthquakes, which have caused huge loss of human life and huge losses to the country's economy.

There was an earthquake in India also
According to the National Seismological Centre, an earthquake of 3.6 magnitude struck Manipur's Bishnupur district on Thursday morning last week. According to the National Seismological Centre, the earthquake was recorded at around 4.42 am and its epicenter was at a depth of 10 km in Bishnupur area. There is no report of any casualty in the area due to the earthquake. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km below Bishnupur in Manipur.
