Earthquake Today: 4.1 magnitude quake jolts Jammu & Kashmir, epicentre in Baramulla
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir was on Friday jolted by a mild earthquake of magnitude 4.1 with the epicentre reported to be in Baramulla, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.
The quake struck at 9.06 pm at a depth of 10 kilometers in Baramulla at the coordinates — latitude 34.26 north, longitude 74.44 east, it added.

No casualties or loss of property has been reported in the earthquake.
Earthquake in Afghanistan
The quake in Jammu and Kashmir occurred hours after Afghanistan was also jolted by a quake of similar intensity. The epicentre was reported to be northeast of Kabul near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The magnitude was measured at 4.3.
