salt as required

4 cups water

1 tablespoon carrot

1/4 cup potato

1 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1 tablespoon butter

1 1/2 cups onion

2 cups flour

1 tsp grated nutmeg

2 tbsp beans

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Step 1 Chop the vegetables finely

To make this delicious stew recipe, take a chopping board and finely chop onions, carrots, potatoes and beans. Heat butter in a deep pan on medium flame and add onion.

Step 2 Fry onion and mutton, then add flour

Fry the onions until they become translucent. Add meat pieces and fry for 2 minutes. When the meat is cooked and opaque, add the flour. Keep stirring until the pieces are evenly coated.

Step 3 Add water, vegetables and spices

After this, add water to it and let it boil for a minute. Lower the flame and cook until the pieces are half cooked. Now add carrots, potatoes, beans, nutmeg, turmeric powder and stir. Add salt and red chili powder as per taste.

Step 4 Boil for 5 minutes before serving

Boil it for another 5 minutes. Your mutton stew is ready.
