ECB took a big decision for Indian fans, ENG vs IND T20 series matches will now start from this time.

Delhi: The England Cricket Board has decided to change the timing of the first three matches of the five-match T20 series against India in July. This has been done so that more and more people in India can watch this match on TV. This is sure to increase the earnings of broadcasters and the cricket boards of both the countries.

Let us tell you that the Indian team’s tour of England will start from July 1. Both the teams will face each other in the first 5-match T20 series. After this, a 3-match ODI series will also be played between India and England.

Changes in timing of matches

According to media reports, the first three T20 matches which were to start at 6:30 pm England time (ie 11:00 pm Indian time), will now start at 5:30 pm (10:00 pm Indian time). Due to the change in time, these matches will end by 2 am instead of 3 pm, which will make it easier for Indian fans to enjoy them.

There will be no change in the timing of the last two matches of the series

The last two T20 matches of the series will be played at their scheduled time. Both these matches will start at 2:30 pm local time (7:00 pm Indian time), which will be held on 4th July at Old Trafford and on 11th July at Ageas Bowl. This decision to change the timing of the matches has been taken after discussions between the host England Cricket Board, BCCI and broadcasters.

Timing of matches changed due to Indian fans

The change in the timing of the matches shows how much the England Cricket Board benefits from playing against the Indian team. The audience watching the matches on TV has a big role in deciding the schedule and ECB has always believed that India tour is one of the biggest opportunities for them in terms of earning. There is a huge craze among the fans regarding this series and the tickets for most of the T20 and ODI matches have already been sold.

This time the excitement of the fans is going to increase further, because 15 year old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi is also included in the squad of Team India. Within two years of his IPL debut, Vaibhav has won the hearts of many spectators across the world and he will be the biggest center of attraction in this series. Everyone is very impatient to see how Suryavanshi will perform at the international level.

Command will be in the hands of Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer will command the Indian team in this tour against England. Suryakumar Yadav has been removed from the captaincy of the Indian T20 team and has been dismissed from the team. Shreyas Iyer’s tenure will start with the Ireland tour. Tilak Verma will be seen in the role of vice-captain.
