ED action in Delhi for the second day, Rs 5.12 crore cash seized since yesterday

Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED has conducted raids in Delhi. ED took action in the case of money laundering in Sarvapriya Vihar area. This search operation was started on December 30, 2025, which is continuing till now. During the operation, ED has recovered crores of rupees in cash and huge amount of properties.

During the raid, officials seized cash worth Rs 5.12 crore. Cash counting machines had to be called to count the cash. The cash was kept hidden at different places. Cash was recovered during the search operation.

Along with the cash, the ED has also seized precious gold and diamond jewelery stuffed in a suitcase. The estimated market value of the jewelery is said to be Rs 8.80 crore. There is a fear that all the jewelery may be purchased with illegal money. These were kept hidden as property.

Total value of seized property Rs 35 crore

ED has found many checkbooks from a bag. Important financial documents and papers related to various properties have also been found. The total value of these documents has been estimated to be around Rs 35 crore. The documents are being counted intensively. The officer is investigating the source of money, links of transactions and the role of people associated with it. At present, the Enforcement Directorate team is investigating the entire matter closely. After examining the documents, it is expected that more important revelations may be made. Further action will be taken based on the findings.
