Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nnamdi Collins expected to miss the rest of the season
Nnamdi Collins needs ankle surgery and is unlikely to feature for Eintracht Frankfurt again before the end of the season.
Eintracht Frankfurt will most likely have to manage without Nnamdi Collins for the rest of the 2025/26 season.
The 22-year-old defender suffered an ankle injury against Mainz before the international break and is set to undergo surgery, Eintracht coach Albert Riera revealed on Friday.
“It will be difficult for him to feature in the remaining games,” Riera said.
“Maybe a miracle will happen, but he needs surgery. It will be very difficult.”
Rasmus Kristensen, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya and goalkeeper Kauã Santos are also unavailable for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Bundesliga clash against 1. FC Köln on Sunday.
