Who is the CM of Maharashtra? Despite the massive victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the picture regarding the new CM is still not clear. Due to which there are clear indications of conflict in the Grand Alliance. However, leaders of all parties in the alliance are claiming to be united. If sources are to be believed, things could not be completely resolved in the meeting of Mahayuti leaders with Home Minister Amit Shah. At the same time, the suspense has deepened after Acting CM Eknath Shinde left for his village after the meeting.

According to media reports, BJP's uneasiness has increased after Acting CM Eknath Shinde left the village, because whenever Shinde has to take a major decision, he goes to the village. It is believed that Shinde can take his decision regarding claiming the post of CM by this evening. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat says that whenever Eknath Shinde has to take a big decision, he goes to his village. Shinde is going to take a big decision by this evening. He also claimed that the name of the CM could be declared by tonight.

Shirsat further said that the swearing-in ceremony will be held on December 2. Speculations about Shinde going to the Center He said that Shinde will not take any place in the Union Cabinet. He will play his political innings in Maharashtra only. If sources are to be believed, Shinde has asked BJP to give the post of Deputy CM to another leader of his Shiv Sena faction. He is also considering staying out of the government completely.

However, BJP is not ready to let Shinde step aside citing his importance in the new government. Shinde reportedly feels that accepting the role of Deputy CM would be an important step after assuming the CM's chair.
