The written complaint against Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor states that the sixth season of 'Gandii Baat' was streamed on Alt Balaji between February 2021 and April 2021. An episode of this season featured pornographic scenes involving an underage girl. However, this episode is no longer available on the platform. Based on the written complaint, Mumbai Police registered a case against Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under sections 13 and 14 of the POCSO Act as well as section 295-A of the IPC and IT Act at the MHB police station.
