Election bugle in Assam: PM Modi mentioned Pulwama, said – Congress puts terrorists on its shoulders, know special things

Guwahati. Before the formal announcement of assembly elections, political activities have intensified in Assam. In this series, during his visit to Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted many development projects to the state and addressed a public meeting organized in Guwahati.

In his address, the Prime Minister mentioned the development works and enumerated the achievements of the Center and strongly targeted the opposition, especially the Indian National Congress.

Emphasis on development, inauguration of many projects-
The Prime Minister claimed that during the tenure of the Bharatiya Janata Party and National Democratic Alliance government, the development of the north-eastern states has been given top priority.

Referring to the inauguration and foundation stone laying of several projects including ‘Bhaskar Setu’ in Guwahati, he said that these schemes will strengthen the infrastructure of Assam and create new employment opportunities.

Mention of Pulwama attack, strict message on terrorism-
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi recalled the terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated his strict stance against terrorism. He said that there will be no compromise with the country’s security.

Congress accused of appeasement and infiltration-
The Prime Minister accused the Congress of ignoring the Northeast for years and discriminating in fund allocation. He said that Congress leaders do politics of giving protection to infiltrators, while the Central Government is paying equal attention to both national security and development.

PM Modi expressed confidence that the people will give another opportunity to the BJP-led government with an overwhelming majority in the upcoming assembly elections.
