It is mandatory to obtain written permission from the local police and administration before holding any rally, meeting or procession. A temple, mosque or any religious place cannot be used as a platform for election campaign. Asking for votes on the basis of caste, religion or sect is considered a serious breach of code of conduct. Any statement that creates hatred between two communities can lead to direct cancellation of candidature.
