Election campaign meeting of former Union Minister Smriti Irani in two constituencies in Dhemaji.

Assam Dhemaji. Election campaign is going on in full swing in Dhemaji district. Yesterday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma, after the election campaign meeting, today BJP’s star campaigner, former Union Minister Smriti Zubin Irani, while addressing the people, participated in a public meeting at the Silabaligaon School Sports Ground of Mukhtiyar Panchayat, 79th Sisbar village assembly constituency of the district, raising slogans of developed Assam. Last time, the Chief Minister of Assam had promised to provide 1 lakh government jobs in Assam, but the government gave government jobs to 165,000 unemployed youth. And promised to provide 2 lakh more jobs if BJP government comes to power in 2026. Assam is currently providing rice, sugar, dill, salt by the government through lighted shops and sweet oil will also be provided in the coming days.

The Prime Minister also mentioned about increasing the amount of assistance being provided by Kisan Samman Nidhi to women and farmers from Rs 6,000 to Rs 11,000 annually. Criticizing the Congress party, he said that during the Congress government in 2015, ULFA had carried out a bomb blast in Dhemaji, killing innocent children. There was unrest everywhere. Now there is peace and tranquility in BJP government and there is progress towards development of Assam. For peace, progress and to fulfill Modi ji’s dreams.

On the other hand, BJP alliance candidate former MLA Bhuvan Pegu participated in an election campaign meeting at Majbarari Sarvodaya Kashinath High School playground of 80th Jonai constituency of the district and informed people about the manifestos campaigned by the BJP party in Assam today and called upon people to vote for BJP alliance candidate Bhuvan Pegu on the lotus symbol in 80th Jonai constituency. The meeting was attended by a large number of people including BJP alliance candidate Jeevan Gogoi, Bhuvan Pegu, star campaigner former Union Human Resource Development and Union Textiles Minister Smriti Zubin Irani, former Union Minister of State Darshana Jardosh, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Chau, District BJP President Rupa Kaman, Bibhuti Bhuiyan Ganga Pegu, Lavanya Dale Pait.
