Election Commission is strict on JMM-BJP's press conference, instructions given for investigation, Supriyo Bhattacharya and Pratul Shahdev had talked.
Ranchi: The Election Commission has expressed objection to the press conference of JMM-BJP and has directed for investigation. The Commission has asked that instructions have been given to investigate under what circumstances and with whose permission the press conference was held. It is noteworthy that first Supriyo Bhattacharya had held a press conference on behalf of JMM and then BJP also held its press conference on the allegations.
JMM accused BJP
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a press conference. Bhattacharya said that BJP has run the campaign during the silent period in violation of the model code of conduct. He said, “BJP is campaigning in Jharkhand to confuse the enlightened voters, which is against the code of conduct. We have also sent a letter to the Election Commission in this regard.”

Supriyo's attack on Himanta
Bhattacharya claimed that after the recent action taken by the Assam Chief Minister, the BJP is indulging in its election campaign. He also highlighted the clash between JMM and BJP workers with the Central Force in Chandankyari and said that BJP is trying to implement Bengal's electoral model in Jharkhand.
BJP supporters accused of assault
Apart from this, he alleged that BJP supporters and outside leaders are openly distributing money in hotels at Agrasen Bhawan in Dumka and Deoghar city. Bhattacharya raised the question, “Is there a separate law for BJP?” He demanded immediate action from the Election Commission on this, because such cases can affect the election process.
BJP is buying candidates
Bhattacharya made another big allegation, in which he said, “BJP has now adopted a new direction of buying candidates. Earlier it was heard that MLAs were bought, but now candidates are also being bought. These are the same candidates whose assets were earlier worth thousands of crores of rupees.”
