Electric Vehicle India: Mahindra’s BE6 electric SUV is one of the cars that the company is offering the most discounts on this month (May 2026). Since its launch, this Electric SUV Doing well in this segment. It is attracting a large number of customers due to its range and features. This month, the company is offering a cash discount of ₹2 lakh on this electric car. This discount will be available on models from 2025 model year. The company had given a similar discount in April as well. This discount is also increasing the sales. The BE6 has a starting ex-showroom price of ₹18.90 lakh and offers a range of up to 683 km on a single charge.

Mahindra BE 6 Features and Specifications

The company claims that the BE 6 EV with a 79 kWh battery pack can travel up to 682 km. In tests conducted by Autocars India, the EV managed an average range of just 449 km. The 59kWh variant is claimed to have a range of 535km. The BE 6 is quite flexible when it comes to charging. It can be fully charged in 6-8 hours using an AC charger (11kW). Additionally, it can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a DC fast charger (140/175kW).

This SUV comes with two battery options: 59kWh and 79kWh battery. Interestingly, Mahindra is offering a lifetime warranty (for the first private owner). The 59kWh variant produces 231hp of power, while the 79kWh variant produces 286hp of power. Both the variants produce 380Nm of torque.

Mahindra has included a whole range of technologies in this SUV. It has a panoramic glass roof and ambient lighting. The EV also features a 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital driver display. It also has a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It also has features like 360° camera, dual wireless charger and ADAS level 2. It gets ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control and more.

Mahindra BE6 was crash tested by India NCAP in January 2025. The car received a 5-star safety rating in the crash test. The vehicle scored 31.97 out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 45 out of 49 for child protection. This means that this car is completely safe for both adults and children. It should be noted that 16,313 units of this car were sold in FY 2026.
