Electric Car: Jaguar’s electric luxury car will arrive in September, know the features of Electric GT

Electric Car: Luxury carmaker Jaguar has announced that it will introduce its first fully electric four-door GT (Grand Tourer) in September 2026. This model is not just a new car, but is being considered a big step towards the company becoming a completely electric brand. While designing this new electric GT, the company has also kept in mind its 90 year old heritage.

Its design and driving experience take inspiration from iconic cars like Jaguar E-Type and Jaguar XK120. While the ride quality and driver-focused approach were taken from the XK120, the E-Type played a key role in shaping its performance and road presence.

The new Jaguar Electric GT will have a tri-motor setup, which will generate power of about 986 bhp (about 1,000 PS) and torque of 1,300 Nm. This much power enables it to deliver supercar-like performance, making this car special for speed lovers.

The car will be provided with an advanced torque vectoring system, whose software reacts in just one millisecond. This system automatically balances the power between the wheels when cornering or on slippery roads, providing better grip and stability. Apart from this, features like dynamic air suspension and twin-valve active dampers will make the journey extremely comfortable.

Jaguar’s signature design with a long bonnet and low-roofline will be seen in this electric GT. The company aims to create a car that is the perfect blend of classic luxury and modern electric technology.
