Hazaribagh: Very sad news is coming out from Gondwar village under Churchu block of the district. Late in the night between 1 and 2 am, a herd of five elephants entered the village and attacked, in which 6 people lost their lives. Four members of the same family are said to be among the dead.

After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. There is anger among the villagers and the Forest Department team has reached the spot and is taking stock of the situation. The administration is said to be starting the process of relief and compensation.
