Now there will be no earning from fake videos, Elon Musk’s X changed the rules, strict action will be taken on AI content
AI Fake Videos Rule On X: The world’s most popular social media platform X has decided to make a major change in its Creator Revenue Sharing Program. This platform, owned by billionaire businessman Elon Musk, has made it clear that now strict action will be taken against misleading videos made by AI, especially when there are sensitive situations like war or tension in the world.
This step of the company has come at a time when the fear of spreading misinformation on social media is increasing due to the increasing tension between America, Israel and Iran. X says that maintaining reliable and accurate information on the platform is its priority.
The company is changing its policies
In a post, X’s product head Nikita Bier said that the company is updating its policies so that the right information reaches people in sensitive times like war. He said that the rapidly increasing use of Artificial Intelligence has made it very easy to make fake videos. These videos look so real that ordinary users can easily get confused.
Giving an example, Nikita Bear said that recently a person in Pakistan was running 31 different accounts on which war videos created by AI were being posted. All these accounts were already hacked and their names were changed later.
How will real and AI content be identified?
Under the new policy, if a user posts a video related to war made by AI and does not make it clear that the content has been created by AI, then action will be taken against him. The company has said that in such cases the user will be suspended from the revenue sharing program for 90 days. If someone repeatedly violates the rules, he can also be permanently excluded from this program.
Apart from this the platform has “Made with AI” Also started a new label named. This tag will appear on posts that include AI-generated content, so that users can easily understand that it is not a real video.
