Elon Musk's company is giving a big blow, may lay off employees in June

New Delhi : The wealth of the world's richest man, Elon Musk, is continuously increasing. Now news is coming that Elon Musk has started laying off employees in his company. The first name in this list is of social media platform X. Recently we have received information that Elon Musk has laid off some employees working in social media platform X.

Quoting a private report, it has been reported that some insiders of X have said that the staff in the engineering department of X is being reduced. according to the report
It has been revealed that just 2 months before the retrenchment, the employees were asked to write a page containing information about their contribution to the company and give it to the team leader. Which simply means that to get their stock, employees will have to write a one-page summary of their contribution to the company and submit it to their team leader. The sword of retrenchment hangs over both the employees who did or did not do this.

How many employees lost their jobs?

No information has been revealed yet regarding how many employees have been affected by this retrenchment process. However, Elon Musk and X have not yet shared any official information regarding this layoff. Currently, Elon Musk is busy campaigning for Donald Trump in the US presidential elections.

Layoff order was issued in January

In the month of January this year, X had laid off about 1000 employees from its safety department. Out of which about 80 percent of the employees were software engineers. These engineers were focusing on trust and safety issues and working to prevent abusive content.

Layoffs started as soon as X was purchased

Elon Musk bought X in the year 2022 and during this time the company fired about 80 percent of the employees. The company had fired more than 6000 employees.
