Emergency Box Office Collection Day 3: Kangana's magic worked on the weekend, 'Emergency' crossed the 10 crore mark in three days

Emergency Box Office Collection: Kangana Ranaut's political drama film Emergency performed brilliantly at the box office on the third day of its release. There was a surge in the film's earnings on Sunday, due to which it crossed the Rs 10 crore mark in three days.

How much did it earn on the third day of release?

Let us tell you that Emergency, directed by Kangana Ranaut, was released in theaters on January 17. Kangana has played the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. The film is based on the Emergency imposed in 1975 and stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, and Mahima Chaudhary in supporting roles.

According to SACNILC report:-

  • Emergency collected Rs 2.5 crore on the first day.
  • On the second day, the film earned Rs 3.6 crore with a growth of 44%.
  • The film's earning on Sunday was Rs 4.35 crore.
  • Overall, the film has done a business of Rs 10.45 crore in three days.

Better performance than Kangana's previous films

Emergency has performed much better than Kangana Ranaut's previous films.

  • The lifetime collection of Tejas, which released in 2023, was Rs 4.14 crore.
  • Released in 2022, Dhaakad had earned only Rs 2.58 crore.
  • Thalaivi, released in 2021, was limited to just Rs 1.46 crore.
  • Emergency has gone much further than these three films.

The film is getting love from the audience

Let us tell you that the film is getting positive response from the audience and critics. Kangana's acting and direction are being highly praised. Although the film is competing with Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan's debut film Azaad, but Emergency has left it behind in terms of earnings.
