Emergency landing of Delhi-Mumbai Air India flight, passengers from Aligarh told how people started crying inside the plane.

There was chaos in an Air India flight going from Delhi to Mumbai when, just moments after takeoff, emergency landing was announced due to a technical fault. The passengers, who were in the air at an altitude of thousands of feet, gasped for breath and screamed in the cabin. In the flight where people were sitting peacefully, the fear of death suddenly spread. Due to the pilot’s wisdom and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the plane was safely landed back at Delhi Airport, but the experience of those few minutes was no less than a nightmare for the passengers.

As soon as the announcement was heard, there was an outcry in the cabin; the passengers started crying and remembering God after seeing death in front of them.

Everything seemed normal as soon as the plane took off, but just a few seconds after takeoff, when the pilot announced an emergency landing citing a technical fault, the passengers were shocked. Other eyewitnesses present in the plane, including Aligarh-based couple Rajeev and Manisha Varshney, said that the scene inside was very scary. On hearing the announcement, many passengers started trembling with fear and started chanting the name of God loudly. Many people had tears in their eyes and started crying. The passengers could not understand what had happened; In that atmosphere of panic, many people remembered old plane accidents and felt that it was difficult to escape now.

The 3 am flight took off at 6 am, due to a fault in engine number 2, the flight had to be returned.

The reason for the passengers’ trouble was not only the technical fault in the air, but also the huge delay in the flight. The flight was scheduled to take off at 3:20 am, but due to operational reasons and delays, it took off at around 6:10 am. The airport authority later clarified that there was a technical problem in Engine No. 2 of the flight. As soon as the plane reached the air, the system indicated a malfunction. After this, the flight crew decided to immediately return the aircraft without any delay, which was a very important step from safety point of view. It was fortunate that the fault was caught in time and the plane was landed safely.

Panicked passengers stuck at the airport for four hours, Air India expressed regret for the inconvenience

After coming out safely from the jaws of death, the passengers heaved a sigh of relief, but their troubles did not end here. After a safe landing, the passengers had to wait for about 4 hours at the airport to board another flight to Mumbai. During this time, there was a lot of resentment among the passengers due to delay and fear. Rajiv Varshney told that he had to reach Mumbai at 10 am for an important business meeting, which was not possible due to this incident. At the same time, Air India has expressed regret for the huge inconvenience caused to the passengers. The airline issued a statement saying that the safety of passengers and crew is their top priority and necessary technical checks of the aircraft are being conducted.
