A bench headed by Justice BR Gavai said that we have to think not only about the animals but also about the humans living there.

During the hearing, amicus curiae Parameshwara said that the Central Empowered Committee in its report has recommended against the operation of private buses on the forest route. Then Justice Gavai said that we need to adopt a balanced approach on this issue, we also have to think about the people there.

During the hearing, the lawyer appearing for the Uttarakhand government said that the 18-seater bus has been running there since 1986 and it is for the convenience of the local people. Parameshwara then said that there was no objection to the road and only the commercial bus service was being opposed. Then Justice Gavai said that you should have a practical approach. You can take a 24 seater canter to the main area of ​​Jim Corbett National Park and not an 18 seater bus for those staying there. The court suggested that if the objection is regarding the operation of private buses, then the court can direct the operation of government transport service buses on this route.
