Employment is getting boost in Yogi government, full story of construction of 800 to 8000 factories

Yogi government is providing new employment opportunities in the state. Under this, preparations are being made to open factories with new schemes. Let us tell you that when Akhilesh Yadav was in power in 2012, there were 14,440 factories in Uttar Pradesh. When he left power in 2017, there were 15,294 factories in the state. During his five years in power, only 854 factories were built. If we look at it district wise, there is an average of about 11 factories in each district. On the contrary, after the formation of Yogi Adityanath, the number of factories in the state increased rapidly.

Made ‘India’s Growth Engine’

Two figures are often discussed regarding the economy of Uttar Pradesh. 800 to 8000. These are not just numbers, but they testify to the ‘structural shift’ that has taken place in the industrial mood of the state. It removed UP from the category of ‘sick’ state and made it ‘Growth Engine of India’.

investment was not possible

During the 5-year tenure of Akhilesh Yadav (2012-17), there was talk of setting up about 800 big factories in the state. At that time the policy focus was on ‘socialist development’. In this the foundation of IT city and expressway was laid. Along with this, there was lack of ‘ease of doing business’ on the ground. Due to law and order challenges and red tape, investors used to flock to Lucknow. But investment was not possible. The arrival of 800 units in 5 years was an average pace. This was inadequate for the needs of a huge population like UP.
