The teaser of Emraan Hashmi starrer Taskery The Smugglers Web has been released, which shows a glimpse of the world of smuggling in the backdrop of the world’s busiest Mumbai International Airport. The makers told that it is a fictional crime entertainer. This Netflix series opens the doors to a world where every suitcase may hold a secret and every traveler may be a suspect. At the center of this operation is Superintendent Arjun Meena, a sharp, calm and calculating officer. Along with his team, he cracks down on smuggling at the airport.

Taskery The Smuggler’s Web, produced by Friday Storytellers, created by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Raghav Jayarath, is coming to Netflix on January 14 next year. The teaser of Taskery’s streaming debut shows how the world of travel and business has been the target of smugglers. In which the Customs Officer is in the centre. Emraan Hashmi plays a leader with lethal instincts and intelligence in a refreshing new avatar. Talking about his character, Hashmi said that Taskery was exciting for me on many levels. This is my first work with Neeraj Pandey and stepping into his world. The character of a customs officer is a new territory for me and Arjun Meena is not loud or ostentatious. He is calm, observant, and always thinking two steps ahead. Neeraj Pandey also stressed on his plan to introduce the unknown world of customs through the series. Apart from Emraan Hashmi, the series includes Sharad Kelkar, Amrita Khanvilkar, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Anurag Sinha and Zoya Afroz.
