The England team, which came to chase the target of 160 runs given by New Zealand, performed brilliantly and won the match by 4 wickets. England could not get a good start, as both openers Phil Salt II and Jos Buttler returned to the pavilion without opening their account.

R of Colombo. In the match played at Premadasa Stadium, New Zealand team won the toss and decided to bat first. Where, New Zealand had scored 159 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Not a single half-century was seen from the Kiwi team. Glenn Phillip played the biggest innings for New Zealand, in which he scored 39 (28) runs.
