Harry Brook scored a historic century

The entire credit for the spectacular victory of the English team in this match goes to captain Harry Brook. He played explosive innings for the team in difficult times. Brook faced 51 balls and scored 100 runs. By the time he completed his century, the match was already in England’s hands. For his innings, Brook was named ‘Player of the Match’. Apart from Brook, Will Jacques played a short but important innings of 28 runs in 23 balls for England. Whereas, Sam Curran scored 16 runs. Shaheen Shah Afrid took maximum 4 wickets for Pakistan. Whereas, Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Khan got 2-2 wickets.

Sahibzada Farhan hits fifty

Sahibzada Farhan played a half-century innings for Pakistan. He played a brilliant inning of 63 runs in 45 balls. In his half-century innings, he hit seven fours and two sixes. Farhan took charge of the team and maintained the run pace in the middle order. Apart from them, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman contributed 25 runs each, while Shadab Khan scored 23 runs. However, Saim Ayub was out cheaply after scoring 7 runs and captain Salman Agha was out cheaply after scoring 5 runs.

The bowlers from England performed disciplined. Liam Dawson was the most successful bowler and took three wickets. Joffra Archer and Jamie Overton took two wickets each. Adil Rashid also got a success. Due to wickets falling at regular intervals, Pakistan team was limited to 164 runs.
