Mitchell Marsh’s side will also be eyeing a 15th successive ODI victory with a triumph over Harry Brook-led English side. But the visitors have plenty of injury concerns with left-arm pacer Ben Dwarshuis flying back home with a pectoral injury which he suffered in the first ODI.
If wicketkeeper Josh Inglis is fit, he could play as a specialist batter for Australia after his replacement Alex Carey scored a match-winning fifty in the second ODI. Cameron Green or Sean Abbott could also be added to the playing 11 looking at the weather conditions in the north of England at this time of the year.
England, on the other hand, will be buoyed by the return of Jofra Archer – who missed the 2nd ODI due to illness. Archer could replace Olly Stone in the lineup with Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts being the other two pacers.
