Enrollment in medical is being done through fake certificate, Babulal Marandi said – get the matter investigated by CBI

Jharkhand Assembly: As soon as the proceedings of the House started in Jharkhand Assembly on Tuesday, Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi raised the issue of nomination through fake medical certificate through information.

He alleged that Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) is committing fraud in counseling by violating the guidelines of the National Medical Counseling Committee. Due to this, candidates are taking nomination on fake certificates. A candidate who has worked very hard is not getting nominated.

Describing it as a very serious matter, he demanded a CBI inquiry into it. He said that JCECEB is not linking the NTA website as per the guidelines of the National Medical Counseling Committee. There is collusion of board officials in this.

He demanded immediate removal of the current officials of the board and cancellation of counseling and fresh counseling. He said that the entrance examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and counseling is done on the basis of its result. Then why NTA is not linked to counselling.

He said that if the government does not take cognizance of this and takes action, then the opposition will have to create ruckus in the House, because it has no option.

Referring to the support price of paddy, he also said that the opposition created ruckus in the House on Monday. The result was that instead of fixing the support price at Rs 3,200 per quintal, it was fixed at only Rs 2,450.
