According to the data of EPFO ​​employees working on regular salary, 9.47 lakh new members joined EPFO ​​in the month of September. This is 6.22 percent more than the month of September last year.

9.33 percent increase in employees

There has been an increase of 9.33 percent in EPFO ​​members as compared to the month of September last year. According to the data given by EPFO, among these new members joining EPFO, more people are in the age group of 18 to 25 years.

Their share in the new members joining EPFO ​​in the month of September is 59.95 percent. In this, the number of people in the age group of 18 to 25 years is 8.36 lakh. This is 9.14 percent more than September 2023.

These figures show that the number of youth is high among the people getting employment. This includes those people who have got a job for the first time. Apart from this, 14.10 lakh members have left EPFO ​​and joined EPFO ​​again.

If we talk about women among EPFO ​​members, 2.47 lakh new women members have joined EPFO. This is 9.11 percent more on the basis of the entire year. The number of women has now increased by 12 percent to 3.70 lakh.
