Its advantages and disadvantages are being told and politics is also taking place across the country. Amidst all this, a big statement has come from SP President Akhilesh Yadav. He said that the argument given in support of ethanol is that it will reduce pollution, import bill will reduce because dependence on crude oil will reduce but the government is not saying that it reduces the mileage of vehicles and the vehicles are getting damaged quickly.

Akhilesh Yadav wrote on social media X, ‘Ethanol’ is the new name of profiteering. This is a triple mixture of ‘government adulteration’ in which the government, ethanol manufacturers and oil companies are in partnership. The argument given in support of ethanol is that it will reduce pollution, the import bill will reduce because the dependence on crude oil will reduce but the government is not telling that due to this the mileage of the vehicles falls and the vehicles are getting damaged quickly, the problem of starting has increased, overall due to low average, more oil has to be poured, vehicles are deviating in the middle of the road, due to which the maintenance cost has increased, the resale value of the vehicle has decreased. And also overall life.

He further wrote, due to ethanol the problem of both rust and junk is increasing. Old vehicles are not made according to ethanol, that is why insurance companies have their own objections and if the car or bike gets damaged, they get another excuse for not paying the claim.
In today’s time of inflation, when parents somehow get a bike for lakhs of rupees for the youth or the youth fulfill their dream of owning a car by taking a car loan, then their worry is expensive oil and also the ever-increasing cost of getting the car damaged due to ethanol and then getting repaired. The truth is that when fuel is made from food items, food inflation will increase and it will also harm the environment because a lot of water is also consumed for ethanol. The government should explain why it is exploiting the public for a few profiteers.
