‘Evacuate these areas immediately…’, amidst war across America, Iran changed its target, issued a new ultimatum

The smell of gunpowder is getting stronger in the Middle East. The war between Israel and Iran has now reached such a point where it is difficult to even estimate the damage it will cause. Recently, America had indicated that it would not attack Iran’s energy sources, but instead of softening, Iran’s attitude has become tougher. Iran has now given a warning that has created panic throughout West Asia.

Hotels made new target

Iran’s army has now given a direct ultimatum, saying that all the hotels in West Asia where American soldiers are staying will be targeted. Tehran has warned hotel owners in clear words not to shelter American soldiers in their places. Iran claims that these hotels are now on its radar and a major attack can be launched any time.

Foreign Minister made serious allegations

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi has taken a stand on this matter on the social media platform ‘X’. He cautioned the people of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and alleged that American soldiers are using civilians as ‘human shields’. According to Aragchi, American soldiers have been leaving their military bases and hiding in hotels and residential offices since the beginning of the war.

An Iranian news agency, quoting sources, has claimed that strict warnings have been sent to hotels in countries like United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain. The Foreign Minister has appealed to the people to immediately vacate the areas around US military bases located in any part of the Middle East.

‘We cannot sit idle’

Iran’s armed forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi has justified this strategy. He argued that when a US military contingent stays in a hotel, that building technically becomes a ‘US base’. Shekarchi said in a strong tone that if America attacks Iran, Iran will not remain silent and will retaliate only where American soldiers are present, even if it is a hotel.

New wave of attacks on Israel

On the other hand, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) has intensified its action against Israel. On Thursday, the IRGC announced the launch of the 83rd wave of ‘True Promise 4’. Under this, rapid attacks are being carried out on Israeli and American military bases. Iran claims to have successfully targeted oil storage facilities in Ashdod and secret military facilities in Modin.
