How to make paneer without milk

  • For this you want to use butternut squash and peanuts. First soak the peanuts overnight in water and separate their skins completely. On the other hand, peel the pumpkin and cut it into small pieces.
  • Make a fine paste by mixing the pieces of pumpkin and shelled peanuts with little water in a mixer bowl.
  • Strain the resulting smooth solution through a cloth or sieve to remove the fibers and form a clear, milky liquid.
  • After filtering, dilute the prepared solution with water.
  • Now pour this thin mixture into a thick bottomed pan and keep cooking on low flame for some time.
  • Once the solution boils, add vinegar and keep cooking for some time.
  • When the solids separate from the water, switch off the gas.
  • After the mixture thickens, pour it on a cotton cloth. This will drain all the water and leave the paneer behind.
  • Now roll the cloth and place a heavy pot or other heavy object on it. Leave it in this position for about half an hour
  • So that the remaining water drains and Paneer is prepared.
    After half an hour when you open the cloth you will see thick white paneer formed.
    Now use this paneer as you wish and prepare delicious dishes from it.
