“Even if there is no agreement, I will liberate Hormuz”, Trump said in the middle of the peace meeting

America will leave the strait of Hormuz free even if it does not agree with Iran. US President Donald Trump threatened in the midst of peace talks in Pakistan. After his comments, the cloud of apprehension began to thicken. According to some experts, if the peace talks fail, the US president may launch a bigger attack on Iran.

Trump said on Saturday, “I wish Iran the best of luck. Let’s see what happens at the peace talks. They have lost this war. Now whether there is a deal with them or not, we will leave Hormuz free.” He added, “Our delegation is efficient and strong. So far everything is fine. Iran’s navy, air force are all destroyed. Their weapons are almost finished. Iran’s leaders are finished. Let’s see what happens in the end.”

A delegation of 70 people from Iran reached Islamabad on Saturday to attend the peace meeting. The foreign minister of that country, Abbas Araghchi, and the speaker of Iran’s parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, are at the helm. Tehran has also brought with it experts in economics, security, politics and technology. On the other hand, the US special plane also landed in Islamabad early Saturday morning. America is in the delegation US Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Wittkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Iran views the meeting held in Islamabad with great importance. Ghalibaf said that Tehran is willing to negotiate. But he also said that they do not trust America at all. That is why Iran has set some conditions for the peace meeting. These include demanding an end to Israeli aggression in Lebanon and a cease-fire. In addition, America will not be able to deploy new troops or increase military power in West Asia. On the other hand, before the meeting, US Vice President JD Vance said, “We look forward to the discussion. I think it will be a positive meeting.”
