‘Even in cricket, Delhi does not win against Tamil Nadu’, why did Thalapathy Vijay say this?

On the occasion of Holi, while leaders across the country are playing the game of Abir-Gulal, Thalapathy Vijay is making political moves. On the occasion of Holi on Wednesday, Thalapathy Vijay took on his opponents and also mentioned the alleged fight of ‘Delhi vs Tamil Nadu’. He taunted in the name of cricket and said that even in cricket, Delhi team is not able to win against Tamil Nadu. Describing the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) as an ‘evil force’, Vijay says that this time the Tamil Nadu team i.e. Tamilana Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) will win.

TVK chief Vijay, who arrived in Thanjavur on Wednesday to address a rally, said that for others it may be an ordinary election but for him it is a very emotional topic. Referring to TVK’s election symbol whistle, he said that whistle should be blown in every house and every polling booth in Tamil Nadu.

What did you say on Tamil Nadu vs Delhi?

Taking on DMK, Vijay said, ‘Before the upcoming assembly elections, DMK people are trying to show it as a contest between Tamil Nadu team versus Delhi team. Even in cricket, Delhi team is not able to compete with Tamil Nadu team. Tamil Nadu is TVK and TVK is Tamil Nadu. All such Tamil Nadu vs Delhi divisions will not work and TVK team will win.

Attacking the Stalin government of Tamil Nadu on the issue of NEET, Vijay said, ‘When people ask for basic facilities, you dismiss them citing lack of money. You knew that the state government cannot ban the NEET exam but you cheated the people by claiming to ban it. You guys tell whether you have faith in Stalin or Vijay. If any scheme is brought against the farmers, even if it is brought under pressure from the Central Government, TVK will reject it. One ration shop will be opened for every 500 ration cards.

Vijay’s focus is on farmers

Claiming to form the government in Tamil Nadu, Vijay has said, ‘Listen to what I am saying. The next government in Tamil Nadu will be of TVK. Fishermen, remain hopeful, your safety will be ensured. Regarding the controversy over Jan Nayagan film, Vijay said that he can be silenced but Vijay present in every house cannot be silenced.

Addressing the fishermen and farmers, Vijay has announced that he will not only make announcements but will also complete them in just 5 years. Vijay, who is trying to woo the farmers, also said that if he is born again, he would like to be born in a farmer family.
