Ever wondered why Shah Rukh Khan’s youngest son is named AbRam? Real reason revealed

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s children are already making waves in the entertainment industry. While the eldest of the 58-year-old actor’s children is reportedly working on his upcoming OTT project, his daughter won the hearts of fans earlier in 2024 by making her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. As Aryan and Suhana carve out their places in the showbiz arena, SRK’s youngest child AbRam has become a sensation on social media.

Whenever AbRam makes a public appearance, whether during the Indian Premier League or a family outing, his pictures go viral on the internet. It seems netizens are obsessed with his cuteness. But did you know why King Khan named him AbRam? Here’s the real reason.

In an old interview with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, Shah Rukh explained that Hazrat Ibrahim in Islam is known as Abraham in the Bible. He added that it is Abram in Judaism.

Shah Rukh highlighted that since his wife Gauri Khan is Hindu and he is Muslim, they wanted their kids to feel a sense of secularism at home. He further said that many people were not happy when he named his son AbRam, which stirred some controversy. However, Shah Rukh was firm that in his home, they must embrace the same secularism that our country represents.
