Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Singur, West Bengal on Sunday. Here he accused the TMC government of the state of corruption and giving protection to infiltrators. PM Modi called on the public to teach TMC a lesson. In his address, PM Modi said that TMC is playing with the youth and farmers of Bengal. He assured that if the BJP government is formed, concrete rules related to plastic will be made so that the jute industry can be promoted.
In Singur, PM Modi started his speech in Bengali. He said, ‘This crowd of Singur, this excitement and enthusiasm is telling the new story of West Bengal. A large number of farmers, youth and mothers and sisters have come. Everyone has come with the same feeling and hope that we want real change. Everyone wants to change the 15 year old Maha-Jungleraj.
On the soil of Bengal, PM Modi also mentioned the victory in Bihar Assembly elections and said, ‘Now BJP NDA has once again stopped Jungle Raj in Bihar. Now West Bengal is also ready to bid farewell to TMC’s Maha Jungleraj.

‘Vande Mataram has to be made the mantra of developed India’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said, ‘I have come to Singur today at a time when the country has celebrated 150 years of Vande Mataram. Vande Mataram was glorified by having a special discussion in the Parliament also. The entire Parliament and the country paid tribute to Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. The relationship between Hooghly and Vande Mataram is even more special. It is said that it was here that Rishi Bankim ji gave the complete form to Vande Mataram. Just as Vande Mataram became the proclamation of independence, similarly we have to make Vande Mataram a mantra for the development of West Bengal and India.
PM Modi also mentioned the achievements of the BJP government. He said, ‘The BJP government has installed the statue of Netaji Subhash Babu in front of India Gate on the duty path in Delhi. For the first time, the contribution of Azadi Hind Fauj was saluted from the Red Fort. The island in Andaman and Nicobar was named after Netaji.
He further said, ‘Bengali language and literature is very rich, but Bengali language got the status of classical language when AAP formed BJP government in Delhi. This will strengthen research in Bengali language. It is due to the efforts of the BJP government that Durga Puja was given the status of cultural heritage by UNESCO.

PM Modi lashed out at TMC
PM Modi targeted Trinamool Congress and asked that these TMC people were partners in Sonia ji’s Congress government, then couldn’t they have got all this work done? Why didn’t you do it? PM said, ‘This is Modi, who has love and dedication for Bengal. It is due to the efforts of our government that Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s Shanti Niketan got the status of World Heritage. BJP gives importance to development and heritage. The development of West Bengal will be accelerated on this model.
TMC is taking out enmity with the people of Bengal
PM Modi said, ‘I want to serve the youth, farmers and mothers and sisters in every possible way, but the TMC government here does not allow the Central schemes to reach you properly. If they are upset with Modi then I can understand it. They have enmity with BJP, this is also understandable, but TMC is venting its enmity on the people of Bengal.
