  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp flour (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Water (to knead the dough)

How to make Lachha Paratha

It is easy to make hotel-style Lachha Paratha. For this, first of all add wheat flour, maida, salt and a little oil in a bowl and mix well. Now knead soft dough by adding water slowly. Keep it covered for 15-20 minutes.

Now make small balls of dough and roll them like thin roti. Keep in mind that the thinner the roti, the better the layers of paratha.

Apply a little ghee or oil on the rolled roti and sprinkle some dry flour. Now fold it like a fan and then roll it into a round shape. Roll out the prepared dough gently and shape it into a paratha. Do not apply too much pressure so that the layers remain intact.

Now put the paratha on the hot pan and apply ghee or oil on both the sides and cook till it becomes golden and crisp. Roast the paratha by pressing it gently, so that the layers are clearly visible. Serve hot Lachha Paratha with curd, pickle or vegetable.
