South Africa’s weak start

Chasing the target of 176 runs, the South African team looked under pressure from the very beginning. The team kept losing wickets at regular intervals, due to which it was never able to make a comeback in the match. The top order was a complete flop and the middle order also could not make a big partnership. For the African team, George Linde scored the highest score of 33 runs, while Rubin Herman contributed 19 runs and Vian Mulder contributed 16 runs. The entire team was all out for 107 runs in 15.3 overs and had to face defeat by 68 runs.

Kiwi bowlers shine

New Zealand’s bowlers performed brilliantly in this match. Ben Sears and Lockie Ferguson bowled lethally and took 3 wickets each and completely destroyed South Africa’s batting. African batsmen could not stand against his fast bowling.
