Ex-UFC star records fastest ever knockout in Karate history – WATCH
New Delhi: UFC ex-star Robelis Despaigne recorded the fastest-ever knockout in the history of the sport. Despaigne took only four seconds to finish his opponent in the fight. It was also Despaigne’s Karate debut and started his karate career on a high note.
Despaigne was fighting against Dominik Jedrzejczyk and also Jedrzejczyk was making his karate debut but caught an early overhand right hook by Despaigne during the fight.
The fight started with both fighters taking the southpaw stance and then Despaigne hit a body kick to Dominik and caught him with his right-hand shot and finished the fight just in four seconds.

UFC released Despaigne last month after his two consecutive losses in the UFC. Dana White signed him in 2024 and he fought in the prelims card of UFC 299 event in March 2024. He won his debut UFC fight against Josh Parisian as he knocked out Parisian in the first round.
After his high kickstart to his UFC career, Despaigne fought his second fight just after two months and his decision landed hard on him and he lost the fight via unanimous decision.
He came back in October 2024 and lost his second consecutive fight in UFC and after that, UFC released him from the organistaion. After two months, Despaigne made his comeback in combat sports and kickstarted his new combat sport journey with a dashing victory.
Why did UFC release Robelis Despaigne?
Robelis Desagaine made a great start to his UFC career and he came with an extra hype with him. Before his debut in UFC, he had first-round knockouts and had just 37 seconds of duration in the octagon. After his significant record, UFC signed him and he debuted also on a high note with a first-round knockout in UFC 299.
After that, he suffered two consecutive losses and UFC released him. The UFC is trying to make room for new 42 fighters before 2025 who earned UFC contracts by winning Dana White’s contender series.
