Pakistani cricketers used to smuggle drugs into India

In an ANI podcast, RVS Mani made a shocking revelation, alleging that Pakistani delegations visiting India, including journalists and prominent cricketers, smuggled drugs into India. Referring to the SAFMA delegation that visited India around 2006, he said that smuggling narcotics into India has always been part of Pakistan’s official and deliberate policy. It may come as a shock to cricket fans, but Pakistani players have done this before, often for very small sums.

Serious allegations against Shahid Afridi-Shoaib Akhtar

RVS Money named famous Pakistani fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif directly. He claimed that there were cases of these cricketers being expelled from the country by the Pakistan High Commission after they confessed to possessing drugs. However, at the time, there was an attempt to suppress the matter by claiming that it was for personal use, but according to Mani, this was just an excuse. He further said that other famous sportsmen like Salim Malik and Shahid Afridi were also involved in similar activities.

Shahid Afridi’s name is also included

Mani said that big players like Salim Malik and Shahid Afridi were also involved in the case. However, no official information has been given about these claims yet. Earlier, Pakistani cricketers have been found guilty in several match-fixing cases.

Coach’s death in drug trafficking case

Money has made an important revelation about the death of the then Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer. He said the coaches had resisted the supply of drugs. Subsequently, Woolmer died under suspicious circumstances in March 2007 in the West Indies. Connecting all these links makes it clear that the coach lost his life because of his opposition to drug trafficking.
