Exciting competition continues in Lucknow District Badminton Tournament, these players reached the finals

Lucknow, Read: In the matches played on the second day of Suresh Chandra Tripathi Memorial Lucknow District Badminton Tournament, the players performed brilliantly and secured a place in the finals. In this competition held at Mini Stadium, Gomti Nagar, in the under-11 boys singles category, Abhijay Singh of Divine and Yashart Singh of Axilia decided the title clash by winning their respective semi-final matches.

Abhijay Singh defeated Tejas Pratap Singh 15-3, 15-3 in a one-sided match, while Yasharth Singh entered the final by defeating Shivang Mishra 15-9, 15-9. The spectators were thrilled with the performance of both the players and there was constant excitement on the court.

In the girls under-19 singles category, Megan Prakash of BBD and Priyanka Gautam of Shuttle S also made it to the finals. Megan defeated Gauri Dubey 15-7, 15-3, while Priyanka Gautam defeated Aparajita Ghoshal 30-17. Now the title match will be played between the two.

Apart from this, in the Boys Under-13 category, Samridh Pandey of Shuttle SK entered the final by defeating Anvay Maurya 15-10, 15-10. According to the organizing committee, players displayed excellent technique and sportsmanship in other categories of the competition as well.
