Once again with Zee Marathi In the clarinet quartet When asked how she feels while working, Aditi said, ‘It feels great. No matter how nice the father-in-law is, the feeling is the same energy that one gets from eating rice from the mother’s hand after coming home. It’s the same with me. It’s been a lot of support for the past few years and coming back here feels very professional and I can work freely,’ Aditi enthuses about her series and working with Zee again.
What are your feelings about the journey that started as a heroine and has now reached the role of mother and mother-in-law? When asked about this, Aditi very sensibly said, ‘Actually, change is necessary in life. There is a difference between the 21st year me and the 40 year old me. Age gradually shows on the face and everyone should accept it and if you say about me I am accepting it Gracefully. It’s not easy to get a lead role even at the age of 40 and everything has a flavor and it’s no fun unless it’s there.’
Aditi has always played different roles. Meanwhile, she is playing the role of a mother of 3 children in this serial. When asked why she chose this role, Aditi said, ‘In this serial, it is actually a story of a mother in two families and the role of mother is very important to me. Slowly now my role is coming in front of the audience. Tejaswini Khanolkar is a very bright businesswoman who has raised 3 children alone and is very tough. She has worked from following her own diet to treating the business as her own baby to raising it entirely alone, and is therefore very strict and possessive about leaving the business in the hands of her eldest son Jai. This role of Tejaswini has many kangaroos, so I wanted to choose this role.’
After this, Aditi further said that, ‘There are two families in this series and often the sufferings of the poor family are seen quickly but the sufferings of the super rich family are not seen so quickly and this series has tried to show a direct mirror of the ways of these two families and as the series progresses, more Kangaroos will be exposed to the audience.’

When asked what she thinks about while choosing different roles, Aditi is quick to say, ‘The medium of television has changed in the last few years and the satisfaction of working with people is important as well as the team you work with and the trust you have in it. I choose to work with these two things in mind, and when working with Zee, I work with my eyes closed. Because the medium is different and artists have to maintain themselves for it. Accepts work only with this thought in mind’
When asked about her experience working with Gen Z, Aditi had a different answer, ‘To be honest, I’m scared of Gen Z. They have their own fixed opinions and have ready answers. In fact, social media has given a different culture to this generation. It seems that we get tired while running at their speed. There is also a lot to learn from them as they have a case study for everything. But even so, the feelings of our generation were very real and our generation was an experimenter. She was a learner from experience.’
When asked why the audience should watch the series, Aditi said that it is a story that feels like home and the two families will make the audience feel like they are the people of their home. It is sure that they will feel that things are happening in their own house, so far the audience has given a lot of love and it is expected to get the same through this series. At this time, Aditi also expressed her belief that the audience will love this serial too.
