EXO’s D.O., AKMU’s Lee Suhyun release the full version of the most loved cover ‘Rewrite the Stars’

Lee Suhyun of AKMU and EXO’s D.O. performed a duet of Rewrite The Stars on September 20. Earlier they collaborated when the studio version was made available on YouTube. As of now, this version that was replicated had received over a million views on Lee Suhyun’s official YouTube channel.

For the unversed, Zac Efron and Zendaya, sang the song when it was first released in November 2017 as a promotional single for The Greatest Showman.

Suhyun and D.O. of AKMU previously gave a quick rendition of Rewrite The Stars. Suhyun had a humorous moment during that episode, sharing that she had always wanted to perform the song after seeing the movie but was disappointed by the lack of acceptable male vocalists in the area. At the time, her brother Chanhyuk was standing next to her as a co-MC.

Meanwhile, D.O. co-wrote the music video for the main tune, Small Girl, on her first album with rapper Lee Young Ji. Due to D.O. and Young Ji’s endearing chemistry, the song swiftly acquired popularity.

On May 7, 2024, he launched his brand-new mini-album, Blossom. This album, which was released by Company SooSoo, his current agency, and marketed by Dreamus, signaled his comeback after an 11-year hiatus from SM Entertainment. Blossom sold more than 120,000 copies in its first week of release
