Both Mukesh Ambani and Sunil Mittal want to capture India's satellite market. But this battle is not that easy, because Starlink seems to be far ahead in this race so far. This is also because work on this technology has been started by Starlink for a long time. Whereas Jio and Airtel are still a little behind in the S race.

If we talk about Jio, then when Jio started its 4G services, it had made data, calling and SMS free, due to which many telecom companies came out of this race. Meaning, Jio has the advantage that it knows the Indian market long ago. However, everyone is trying to overcome this in their own way.

Jio gets license for satellite internet

Meanwhile, the Government of India has adopted the administrative route. To get internet satellite broadband, these billionaires will have to go through this route for now. In the race for satellite internet, Jio has received the license in India, while Starlink and Airtel are still waiting for the license. Instead of playing field, Jio wants the government to adopt the auction route. That means the company that wants the spectrum should become a part of the auction. Whereas Elon Musk seems to be strongly against the auction route.
