Police said that the explosion took place in the factory of ‘SBL Energy Limited’, a company that manufactures explosive materials for mining and industrial works, located at Raulgaon in Katol tehsil. Police said that the injured were admitted to a hospital in Nagpur soon after the blast.

The morning shift in the factory starts at 6 o’clock. The workers working here reached the factory at 6 in the morning. Officials said around 35 employees under two supervisors were present at the time of the incident. Everyone has come under the influence of this ballast.
